Product Description For Ondansetron Hydrochloride Injection IP
products details and uses
Cancer chemotherapy and surgery both cause nausea and vomiting, and ondansetron injection is used to avoid this. Onetron Wholesaler is a medicine that belongs to a class of medication known as serotonin receptor antagonists. It works by inhibiting the effect of serotonin, a naturally occurring chemical that may cause nausea and vomiting in certain individuals.
Prior to using this medication, you should consult your doctor.
If you have an allergy to ondansetron, you should avoid using it entirely.
- To ensure that ondansetron is safe for you, inform your doctor if you have any of the following:
- liver disease;
- cardiac disease, congestive heart failure, or irregular heartbeats;
- electrolyte imbalance (for example, low potassium or magnesium levels in the blood);
- an individual with a family history of Long QT syndrome; or
- a condition that requires the use of a diuretic or “water pill.”
Ondansetron is not known to pass into breast milk or to have any adverse effects on breastfeeding infants. Inform your physician if you are breastfeeding a child.
