This medicine can also be used for pupil dilation during eye surgery.

What is it prescribed for?
- Cardiac arrest
This medicine is used to restore heart function and hence used in the treatment of cardiac arrest.
- Hypotension due to septic shock
This medicine is used to raise the mean arterial blood pressure in hypotension associated with septic shock.
- Anaphylaxis
This medicine is used in the emergency treatment of severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis due to foods, drugs, insect stings or bites or any other allergens.
- Bradycardia
This medicine is used to increase the heart rate when it is too low.
- Mydriasis
This medicine is used to induce dilation of pupil during intraocular surgery.
